August, 2008Dear Fellow Touchdown Club Members:
We will open the 2008 season on Monday, September 8th at 6:30 pm as we welcome Coach Jim Grobe from Wake Forest. Again this year our meetings will be held at the Methodist Home for Children located at 304 Pierce Avenue. In addition to the weekly - featured speaker, we will again recognize coaches from different Bibb County high schools. The head coach and a few players will be introduced and speak briefly about the season and their program. We are excited to continue to promote high school football in Middle Georgia. The final schedule of speakers has been updated in addition to the high school nights. If you have not already done so, please return your dues of $235.00. The corporate membership buys you 2 seats at a discounted price of $350.00. This is an opportunity to use that extra seat to bring different guests. Please return your dues as soon as possible so we will have an accurate head count for the 1st meeting. Our 2nd annual scholarship auction will be November 17th, Mark Richt night. Please help the club by getting us any items for that event. We will take any type of donation and they do not need to be sports related. New this year are weekly sponsorship opportunities. This is a brand new concept that we are trying. Please click here for additional information. If your company or someone you know might be interested in sponsoring a certain week, please contact me. Please continue to recruit new members for the 2008 season. A membership application maybe printed off of the website and returned to the address indicated. We have reduced the guest fee for the regular season to $25.00 Again, we are looking forward to a great season.
