August, 20102010 Schedule Announced - National Championship Theme Dear Fellow and Perspective Touchdown Club Members: The Macon Touchdown Club is pleased to announce the 2010 schedule which includes a National Champtionship Coaches Theme. The season begins Monday night September 6th (Labor Day) with Bill Curry, Head Football Coach at Georgia State University. Speakers for 2010 include Danny Ford ('81 National Champtionship), Bobby Bowden ('91&'99), Chris Hatcher ('04), Vince Dooley ('80), Bobby Ross ('90), and Johnny Majors ('76). Additionally, the schedule includes Curry, Paul Johnson ('99 & '00) from Georgia Tech, Jeff Monken, Georgia Southern, Mark Schlabach, ESPN, and Mark Rickt from UGA. Again this year, meetings will be held at the Methodist Home for Children, 304 Pierce Ave, with dinner beginning at 6:30 pm with the program beginning at 7:00. Annual dues are $250 which includes the regular season as well as the 2011 Jamboree. Guests fees are $30.00 and are payable on the night of the meeting at the door.
