On Monday night, October 13th, the Macon Touchdown Club will welcome David Greene as our feature speaker. David  played QB for the University of Georgia from 2001-2004 and amassed 11,528 yards of passing. He is now part of the SEC Network, and has a show every Wednesday at 9:30pm where he will sit down with a different head coach each week and break down game footage.

On Monday night, October 6th, the Macon Touchdown Club will welcome Scott Moore as our feature speaker. Scott is famous for his ability to impersonate college football’s greatest coaches.

October 6th is “Ladies Night”, where any spouse/date accompanied by a member can come for a reduced fee of $15.oo.

On Monday night, September 15th, the Macon Touchdown Club will welcome John Stephenson as our feature speaker. John was named the President and CEO of Atlanta Hall Management, Inc. in February of 2013. The not-for-profit corporation was tasked with constructing and operating the National College Hall of Fame in Atlanta. The College Football Hall of Fame opened in August of 2014.

Dear Fellow Touchdown Club Members,

Our first meeting of 2014 will be on Monday night, September 8th, and the club leadership is working hard to make the final preparations for the upcoming season.

We will open with Coach Bobby Lamb of Mercer University. Our meeting will be held at The Methodist Home for Children, located at 304 Pierce Avenue. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm.

You should have received a package from the Touchdown Club that contains a Schedule of speakers and High Schools and a Member Enrollment Form. Please return your dues as soon as possible so that we will have a good head count for the first meeting.

On Monday night, September 8th, the Macon Touchdown Club will welcome Coach Bobby Lamb of Mercer University as our feature speaker. Coach Lamb had the task of starting up football at Mercer for the first time in over 70 years in 2013. Mercer ended it’s first year with a record of 10-2, with a Home record of 8-0.

The Macon Touchdown Club will welcome Clemson University head football coach Dabo Swinney for the annual jamboree on Monday, March 3, 2014.

The Annual Jamboree is when the Macon Touchdown Club awards The Super Seven Players from the State, local players of the year, State Coach of the Year, local Coach of the Year, and most important, The Bobby Sanders Memorial Scholarship to 4 local athletes.
